Welcome to the Art Care Guide

Every artwork deserves to be preserved with care, allowing it to endure over time and maintain its beauty.

This guide has been created to assist you in caring for your artwork, with simple and tailored advice. Whether it's for handling, cleaning, or displaying, you'll find all the keys to preserving the integrity and brilliance of your acquisition!

Display
  • Avoid exposing the artwork to direct sunlight or heat sources (radiators, fireplaces, etc.). This could cause fading or deterioration of the materials.

  • Protect the artwork from humid environments (bathrooms, basements) to prevent mold growth or material degradation.

  • Place the artwork in a stable space, away from vibrations or impacts.

Cleaning
  • Gently dust the artwork with a soft, dry cloth, preferably microfiber.

  • Avoid using chemical products, sprays, or abrasive cleaners that could damage the materials or alter the finishes.

For artworks behind glass, clean only the glass surface with an appropriate product, and be careful not to touch the artwork directly.

  • If you are hanging the artwork, regularly check that the fixings are secure.

  • For sculptures or freestanding works, place them on a stable, protected surface to prevent accidents.
